Admissions

The Admissions Committee is looking for applicants who share are mission and vision for the future of healthcare. We want to know who you are, your motivation, your passions and your dedication to the profession. Through a holistic review, we assess your unique experiences alongside traditional criteria of academics and healthcare background.

Clinical Experience A minimum of 1,000 hours of direct (hands-on) patient care experience in a position of responsibility is required of all applicants. Shadow experience with a PA or an allopathic/osteopathic physician may count toward the requirement but will not fulfill the requirement completely. The Admissions Committee will consider the total number of hours accumulated at the time you submit your CASPA application. No consideration will be given to hours projected for the future. The method to document this experience is through the CASPA application.
